Sofie Lines

Administration & Customer Service Officer

Company: Vancouver Arts Centre - City of Albany
Biography

Sofie started work in the arts sector through volunteering at her local art centre, Denmark Arts Council in 2005. She was then employed as a trainee and followed on to volunteer with many other organisations in her home town. After receiving the Regional Arts Volunteer Award in the Youth Category in 2008, Sofie took a position with Country Arts WA as their Regional Arts Development Assistant.

After spending three years in Perth in various roles, Sofie has returned to her home town of Denmark where she enjoys making the most of living regionally with her partner and two puppies.

Having puppies and working with the City of Albany at the Vancouver Arts Centre (VAC), there isn't much time for her own projects, but Sofie finds fulfillment in the diversity of programs, staff and wonderful customers at the VAC.

Sofie's committed to supporting individuals, groups and organisations to embrace young people as an essential part of creating an innovative, effective and sustainable arts industry.
